Stage fright and shyness were Chris Allen's Lucy and he kicked that trick to the curb years ago. In 14 years, 1000s of people have tried their hand at stand up comedy in Austin and have quit. And if you were to pile their bodies up on each other, at the top of the pile, you'd find Chris Allen sitting in a lawn chair, drinking a beer, and thinking over new jokes for his headlining gig at the Velv.
