Since graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2002 with a degree in Communications, Matt Golightly resisted the urge to take a nine-to-five job and turned his hobby and true love - stand-up comedy - into a career. His takes on dating, the club scene, politics and popular culture strike a comedic nerve with audiences of all ages. No angst, no angry rants, just good clean fun from this self-proclaimed "square." His personable and likeable stage presence has taken him to clubs and college campuses all over Texas and the southwest United States.
