Chad Warren
with Kath Barbadoro
Zach Hanes
and Duncan Carson
Chad Warren is a fifth-generation Texan, 22-year Austinite and Velveeta room veteran whose personal motto is probably "from the sublime to the ridiculous." His humor stems from a natural affinity for twisting language and from profound confusion at the human condition, mostly his own. He grew up on a farm on the Mexican border, got a degree in theatre, was in a band, does occasional film roles and stunt work, and to further his quest to be the ultimate jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none, currently spends his daylight hours fixing computers in a downtown office building.
Chad has been seen at comedy clubs across the country and most of them didn't press charges.
He's been a contributor on "The Encyclopedia Show," "Weird True Hollywood Tales," and "Last
Gas Comedy.com."
His one TV credit is an episode of "Bobby Flay's Throwdown" where he's seen drunkenly telling the world-famous chef that he's got a lot to learn about making crepes.
Host Duncan Carson and featured guests Kath Barbadoro and Zach Hanes are all relative newcomers to the Austin scene; each bringing with them a unique comic vision and bucketfuls of funny. Taken together they exemplify why Austin has become to comedy what it has been to live music for decades: a place where talented artists congregate to hone their craft while working brain-eating day-jobs and facebooking on their smartphones all day.
